Have your wedding at the Peninsula overlooking our scenic lake!  Surrounded by the festive ambiance that is the exciting and romantic Louisiana Renaissance Festival.

To reserve the peninsula for a wedding or other event is $100;  the non-refundable deposit will be applied towards the cost to rent the peninsula.  Payment in full is due 30 days prior to the event.

The Renaissance Festival runs for six weenends starting the first Saturday of November.  Renting the penisula during October, November, and December  includes ten benches that are eight feet long (~4 people per bench), ten passes to faire (Example: bride, groom, priest, and seven others).  
During Faire season rates start at $800. 
Off season(Jan-Sept) rates and options vary throught the year.

For those wishing to get married at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival, we reserve the peninsula which servers as an island oasis in the middle of the renaissance festival ambiance.   As a venue for your wedding we are fairly simple.  We provide a place for your wedding.  You can plan the rest with very few restrictions from us. Your wedding planner can arrange and plan the wedding the way you want it.  You can choose any catering services you like, for food or equipment.  

Your planner will have full access to plan as they like.  We allow delivery vehicles to park within inches of the set-up area. To avoid delivery vehicles from driving though crowds of people, vehicles can fully access the site on any day we are not open to the public.  On days we are open to the public vehicles can still access the site until 9:00 am, and can again enter the site after the public leaves, approximately 5:30pm. 

If you have your wedding during the renaissance festival your guests must gain entry into the village.  For weddings we automatically discount entry to the group rate, for all of your guests.  If you have a guest list we have several options for you to choose from: we can pre-print their tickets for you to give to each of your guests. We can leave pre-paid tickets at the at the will call window.  You can provide a person to work at the gate, and check people off as they arrive.  You also have the option of letting your guests self identify for the group rate, when they pay at the ticket booth.  

The wedding peninsula does not have electricity, an extension cord can be run if needed.  We will include ten benches that are eight foot long, if you ask for them in advance (8 feet is about the length of a living room sofa).  

If you choose to also have the reception at the festival.  We can set aside a more private area for your reception if you like.  Recently most couples are utilizing half of the peninsula for their wedding and the other half for their reception.  This has been working very well for the couples, it is a much simpler set up, fewer logistics of getting from one place to another.  It has been satisfying the needs of those attending and saves the wedding couple a lot of effort and costs.
